Omega 3 EFAs , i.e. essential fatty acids, are mainly eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Their main sources are mainly fish, shellfish, vegetable oils and nuts. Unsaturated fatty acids from the Omega 3 group support the proper functioning of the heart, brain and blood vessels.
