Bovine colostrum – what is it anyway?
Bovine colostrum is a name for dried bovine colostrum, derived from cow's milk. Thanks to technological possibilities, it has been possible for some time to isolate it and obtain it as a substance in food supplements. Bovine colostrum is the first secretion (infant milk) produced in the mother's body within a few days after birth. The name 'colostrum' is not coincidental – because of the yellowish color. Colostrum is definitely different in composition and properties from real milk - it is much richer in proteins and enzymes and has the task of providing the newborn offspring with nutritious food. This in turn has a significant positive effect on the development of intestinal microflora, which is unanimously considered one of the first and most important steps in building immunity. Particularly noteworthy is the presence in colostrum of immunoglobulin type G antibodies, which are proteins involved in the normal functioning of the immune system.
Dissolve one serving of the product 1 g (3 scoops) in 20 ml (3 tablespoons) of water or milk. Take 1-2 servings per day. The product can also be added to oatmeal, smoothies or yogurt. Use the measuring cup included in the package (1 ml).
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use the product as a substitute for a varied diet. A balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are recommended. Do not swallow if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Children, pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use the product. Keep out of reach of children.
